Veritas Technologies
From Summer to Fall 2022, I had the opportunity to work at Veritas Technologies as the Employment Brand Intern and collaborate with both the talent acquisition and marketing teams.

Overview
Employment brand is the branding and marketing of the entirety of the employment experience. This could be broken down into employee engagement, candidate experience and social media presence.
Did you know?
Employee voice is three times more credible than the CEO when it comes to talking about company working conditions.
50% of candidates say they would not work for a company with a bad reputation, even for a pay increase.
75% of active job seekers are likely to apply to a job if the employer actively manages its employer brand.
Project
To further Veritas's brand through storytelling and redesign, I focused on revamping its presence on LinkedIn, especially its Life section to:
Curate dedicated pages that best showcase the staff and team leaders
Promote the company's voice and story
Overall present global inclusivity
130,000+ LinkedIn followers
6,000+ Veritas employees
30+
Companies researched & analyzed
15 stories
Written across 5 major branches
10+
Developed blogs, visual design, etc
Process
Research & Analysis: I explored over 30 company pages on LinkedIn Life to analyze and understand the media, verbiage, content and organizational choices. Based on those insights, I observed the impact of brand consistency, importance of real people and places, as well as the strong appeal to authenticity.
Brainstorm & Ideate: I laid out all of the existing screens of Veritas's Life pages on Figma, and created low-fidelity wireframes to visualize the new layout, iteratively refining them based on my team's feedback. Afterward, we inputted photos, videos, and employer branding copy I developed according to the categories I created.
“Cindy's projects played a key role in moving our employment branding efforts forward. She revamped the LinkedIn Life page, created a personal brand workshop we can use for recruiting and our Intern Program and wrote blogs and worked collaboratively with employees and their stories. ”

Takeaways
Working at Veritas on a small team of 3-4, this month-long project was one of my highlights. I am grateful to my manager and mentor for believing in me and my vision to best represent the company on LinkedIn, and it was a great learning experience to revamp their platform with the purpose of:
Reflecting the work, culture, and values.
Reaching the target audience(s).
Resonating with the company story.
